Guided Mike Davies from England for the 2nd day today and chose an easier going farmland type river to save his recently injured knee from giving him any grief. The fishing was a little tough with an angler encounter on the river - struck other fishermen who decided to jump in the river 100 meters ahead of us - later claiming they didn’t realize we were fishing. They apologised and we amicably divided up the water and continued to hook a further 3 trout landing 1 of them which was this sight fished brown trout on dry fly which was the highlight to Mike for the whole trip, ahead of the 10 superb fish hooked yesterday nymphing. Mike had a great day and was very easy to guide being a very competent fly fisherman. Mike spends a lot of his retirement time fishing for Atlantic Salmon in England and Scotland and talking with him for two days about it has given be the urge to go there and give it a try one day soon.
